Requesting a massive increase in research and statistics.
Improving work done with agricultural unions and assisting farm patrols.
Continuing to drive land ownership and financial support for emerging farmers.
Working on improving SAPS/farmer relationships.
Continuing to push for fully outfitted, dedicated policing units to be reintroduced.
Asking for a boost in rural SAPS investigative capacity.
Asking that SAPS recategorise rural attacks as priority crimes.
Continuing to fight Expropriation Without Compensation at every turn.
Asking for a review of land occupation regulations.
Asking for tax relief measures for farmers paying for private security.
Calling for greater Crime Intelligence capacity in rural areas.
Continuing to stress the need for border control.
Calling for a Joint Ministerial Summit on Rural Safety.

The Agency is drowning under a backlog of 300 000 emails and 4 000 attempted phone calls a day from desperate people needing assistance with the Special Covid-19 Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant of R350.

DA calls for De Lille to be fired following damning SIU report into Beitbridge saga
An SIU report indicates Minister De Lille did not follow the law, flouted procedures, and as such, she failed to uphold her oath of office. She along with her advisor should be fired.

The DA Eastern Cape elected new leadership at South Africa’s first-ever virtual political congress.
The DA in KZN called for action from the Premier following a brutal double murder in the KZN farming community.
The lid was lifted on a Free State government project to move hundreds of families into 2,5m X 2,5m corrugated iron shacks, 100m from the local dumping site. The DA is raising further questions on this in Parliament.
