✈️ Minister of No Tourism must provide a date for reopening of international travel to prevent more job losses

International tourists will only book their holidays once they know when our borders will open. And local tourism enterprises need a date to start making reservations and planning for Covid-19 health measures, in order to boost the economy and save livelihoods.

💵 Action on UIF fraud welcomed

Senior Unemployment Insurance Fund officials have been placed on precautionary suspension in connection with fraud and financial mismanagement associated with the UIF’s Covid-19 Ters benefit scheme, including for large payments wrongfully made to deceased people and prisoners.

DA appoints Solly Msimanga as acting DA Gauteng Provincial Leader following John Moodey’s resignation
